Route Description

This trekking itinerary leads to the gorge of the Dezzo Torrent, a spectacle of nature created by the water that over time has gained space in the rock with its strength. Brutal was the one with which in 1913 an avalanche of water and mud caused by the breaking of the Gleno dam crossed the gorge, an accident that cost the lives of hundreds of people. The route is easy and suitable for all levels of training, but it is recommended to pay attention to the descent into the woods on the way back because of the slippery ground. Near Lake Moro it is possible to have a tasting of typical products of Valle Camonica in one of the local agritourisms.
